It’s the first Monday in November here in Upstate New York. It certainly feels like November. We have a dusting of snow on the ground and the wind is blowing with a bitter bite to it. So many things going on in the world. I do hope that your corner of the world is safe and warm.
Tomorrow is election day and I will not be writing about the election. Only to say that we will be serving a Boozy Cupcake tomorrow for your enjoyment. The alcohol is totally baked out of these cakes, but it is a fun way to ease the stress of the day !! We hope that you will stop by and try one of these special treats.
Our Bake Shop has been open for only five short weeks and we are learning so much. Every day there are new improvements. So, if you visited us at the opening, please stop by and see how many changes we are making and improvements to our bakes.
There have been many questions about Thanksgiving. Please take a look at my menu for information on Pie, Cakes and Bread orders. Those will be the only items to pre-order before Thanksgiving and we will be open Thanksgiving Day for pick-up, between 7:00 and 11:00 am.
There have been many requests for cut-out cookie orders. Here is my answer for cut-outs. I make a daisy cut-out and sometimes my hen cut-out. I will NOT be taking orders for cut-outs. We have a fantastic cut-out cookie shop in Shortsville. So, I refer you to Sweet Blessings for your custom cut-out cookie orders. We will have several cookies to offer over the Holidays and cookie trays with an arrangement of our bakes, but no we will NOT be taking custom cut-out orders.
Thank you for your support and your input. I am having a complete ball with this !! I must say that I have never worked so hard on something, but the rewards are amazing. It is such fun to bake for the community !! Thank you also for your patience with me. This is a learning process for me.
I’m nervously excited for this Holiday Season approaching. We will do our very best to take the best care in baking for your Holiday needs.
