Spring is such an exciting time. Don’t get me wrong, I do love winter, but by the end of the season, I am ready to move on and enjoy what is to follow.
As the snow melts away, we start to see those little signs of new life. Just today, as I started picking up sticks scattered across our lawn, I noticed hosta poking out of the ground. Then, while on my run, I had the chance to rescue a Woolly Bear Caterpillar, who was making his way across the middle of the road. The days are getting a little longer and the air has the smell and feel of spring. All of the local farm stores are filled with little chicks and ducklings. There are signs of Spring around every corner. So, even though it would be nice to be able to bypass the mud that comes with Spring, I will choose to embrace all of Spring and celebrate the season.
