Years back Gary Chapman wrote a book called, The Five Love Languages. It outlines five ways to express and experience love. I’m not sure expressing love should be limited to five different ways, however I am fairly confident on what my love language is. The only thing more satisfying to me than eating carbs is baking carbs for those I care about. Watching someone enjoy something that I have freshly baked, seems to bring me the same euphoria as a runner’s high. Yes, I have experience with that as well.
Carbs seem to get such a bad wrap in today’s world. Oh, I know there are healthy carbs and there are empty carbs, blah, blah, blah… Okay, I will give you that, however everything is fine in moderation. Go ahead and treat yourself a few times a week.
I warned you about what my love language is. So, tell me what your favorite baked good is so I can spread the love.

Hi Lisa,
My co-workers and I wanted to let you know how wonderful all of the baked goods that Matt brings to work are! We enjoy the treats every week, thank you :).
We are looking forward to next weeks menu now that we know we are able to order some of your goodies!

Hi Lisa! Jane Laird (you cut her hair) sent me your link because I too have a passion for baking. I love that you called it your language of love because really that is what it is. Ask me to bring something to a picnic or party and I always choose dessert! I love your blog and enjoyed clicking around. Your desserts look amazing! I too have a blog but haven’t posted in awhile. I still enjoy reading others posts.
