I love a challenge and there is a drive of determination inside of me to complete this crazy venture !! We are deep in the throes of cleaning out this old Bar and making it my shiny clean Bakery. Just like all of those restaurant revamp shows, we have found a mess of almost insurmountable proportions. However, unlike these shows, we will not have the project complete in 48 hours. Also, how do they look so unscathed at the end of those projects? We are starting to feel like weary soldiers looking for the end of the battle.
However, I focus my attention back to the task at hand. This is a Bakery for our community. United with our friends that are in the process of getting their adjoining Diner back in shape, we have a joint goal of providing you a clean, comfortable and welcoming place to gather together and have a good meal at the Diner and come for all your sweets at my Bakery.
This community has been in need for something like this for a long time. For Matthew and I this is truly a labor of love. Not only am I excited to get my Baked goods out to you, but we are all so excited to do this for our community.
So here is a glimpse of the before or should I say the during process of cleaning out the place. I can’t wait to post fresh painted pictures of the place. It will come together. The Sweetest things in life are worth the wait and the best things in life are SWEET !!
Congratulations on your new venture! My daughter Becky Black lives just around the corner in Manchester. I’ll be sure to check this out with the G-kids in hand. You are indeed right, the village really needs this. Blessings and Good Luck!
Thank you !! Be sure to stop in !!
