This past weekend I was one of six ladies on a relay running team, that took the challenge to conquer one hundred miles of hills and turns, from Stowe to Killington Vermont. Summer is Winding Down or Speeding Up
I have a love hate relationship with the month of August. It's my birth month and as an August girl, I love to celebrate, but not so much the aging. Summer Runaway
This summer has been incredibly full and traveling at hyper speed. So, when the time allows, Matthew and I try to take the opportunity to run away and have an adventure together. We are so fortunate to live in the Finger Lakes region. There is an adventure awaiting in any direction. Today we headed to Watkins Glen, located at the south end of Seneca Lake. Summer is Here
We waited and we even whined for our summer season to begin. I don't know about you, but for me it seems that each summer passes quicker than the last. We need to savor each day. June is a Special Month
June is a special month every year. We have birthdays and special occasions to celebrate. This year we have more than usual. We have a family wedding in a couple of weeks. The week after, our youngest son graduates high school. We will have extra family home and the place will be bustling.As you know, I am a home processor baker.
